Rest assured that during these difficult times we have gone above and beyond to create an environment that is safe and enjoyable for everyone. The health and safety of our guests and team are our absolute priorities so we have been following all the protocols and procedures to ensure you have a healthy, welcoming and restful stay with us.
One thing that makes the Blue Fox Motel so special is that all our rooms have their own private entrance opening straight to the outdoors, so isolation galore. The guest rooms are spread out over four acres so there is plenty of social distancing for everyone.
We appreciate your support as we all work through new ways of operating and hope you always look to us as a safe harbor from stormy weather.
providing a safe environment for you
We’re here to provide our guests with fresh air, space and comfort - a special moment to rest, relax and reconvene with nature. Today is no different. Our housekeeping teams have increased their efforts and frequency to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness including using eco-friendly hospital-grade disinfectant throughout all public spaces and guest rooms.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are eliminating mid-stay housekeeping. There will also be signage in higher trafficking areas reminding everyone to respect social distancing, wash their hands frequently and wear a mask when in public spaces shared by others.
Around the property near public spaces, hand sanitizer stations have been installed and each guest receives their own personal hand sanitizer in the room and additional masks are available if you need them.
While you are staying with us, we want you to enjoy the pool. We have placed all lounge chairs and tables six feet apart to adhere to social distancing protocol. Every morning, all lounge chairs, chairs and tables will be wiped down with disinfectant so they are ready for the next guest. Guests are asked to adhere to social distancing while swimming in the pool.
caring for our people, so they can care for you
Our team follow recommended flu-prevention tips, including staying home if they don’t feel well; having their temperature checked when they arrive at work; washing hands frequently with soapy water for at least 20 seconds; and maintaining social distancing when in contact with others. Our people have also been trained on enhanced cleaning protocols that follow CDC/OSHA guidelines related to high touch surfaces such as door handles, counters, alarm clocks, HVAC controls, light switches and television remotes.
changing your plans
We understand that plans change right now as we all try to navigate an evolving situation. Guests are asked to self-monitor their health and out of respect for the safety of others, cancel should they show symptoms. We will work with you should this situation arise to find a date in the future for a visit.
For individual guests who have made reservations for a future date can cancel with full refund up to a month of their reservations. 50% refund is available for cancellations received two weeks prior to arrival. No refund is available thereafter. Credit for future dates may be considered. Please note that changes to an existing reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
For group bookings, we will work closely with you to manage any changes on a case by case basis based on the agreements in place.
